Pretty nice setup featuring cluster on mesh controls and nice deformartion by Denislav Georgiev.

We all have seen some really impressive bouncing ball animation; now it is time for a cool ball rig! The rig features ground contact and auto ball roll or rotational control which I think are pretty cool setup by Angel Pavon.

Tips/Technique : Here is a nice resource for anyone wanting to achieve procedural ball auto rotational control. This is done in 3ds Max but the technique is pretty much the same in all packages by Cuneyt Ozdas!
