Puppeteer Lounge Podcasts

A podcast we did recently going over our animation journey going over how Puppeteer Lounge started with a mission of training artists remotely in character rigging and animation. We go over how Nani & Babu started and it’s popularity amongst Nepali viewers. We also discuss about artificial intelligence in animation the future it holds! We also share about a very important but little known process that will protect your original artwork and content. Most of the artists are unaware of it and their precious artwork gets stolen and misused. So with this video we aim to raise awareness towards this very important aspect.

Towards the end we go over Nepal360 a travel YouTube channel where we share our adventurous journeys traveling around Nepal. Cheers and enjoy!

An Advice on using Auto Riggers like mGear and Rigify

There is mGear for Maya and Rigify for Blender! Me as a self-taught rigger always prefer to learn how to build a custom rig from scratch and then develop a tool to implement it. However lately I have been trying out these autorigger tools and I would say if you are already familier with the concept of rigging and comfortable with it then feel free to use these tools to assist in production. I don’t however recommend these tools to beginners who are getting started with rigging and want to make a career out of it. Take your time to learn the basics, build your own custom rigs and then learn from these tools 🙂
