Fundamental difference between rigging in Maya & Blender | Inverse Kinematics

In this video I go over some key difference between rigging in Maya & Blender focusing on bone and IK Handle creation. As a long time Maya user to me Blender is very new, has a lot of quirk and looks a bit modern compared to the dated Maya look. Also I have found Blender to be lot stable! Will be creating more overview videos like this regarding fundamental rigging difference so stay posted on Puppeteer Lounge YouTube channel by subscribing. Next videos will be set driven keys, constraints, skin weighting, etc.

Maya Keeps Crashing! Do this!!!

Maya has a tendency to CRASH big time! And no body likes to see MAYA Freeze Up and CRASH!! Fortunately there is a SOLUTION, and it’s as simple as turning off the Evaluation Nodes to Ignore All. This way the file loads up so that you can troubleshoot it without crashing, going through each nodes to figure out what actually is causing the problem. Hope it HELPS! Cheers 🙂
